  I would advise the utmost caution in dealing with this individual. My mother entered a contract with him to connect her property to the mains sewer in September 2019 after paying a £4000 deposit, followed by further payments of £9000. In February 2021 he eventually laid the pipework to her boundary but demanded £2500 payment from the £5000 balance which was to be paid on completion of the connection to the mains sewer. I told him this was breach of contract and he has now refused to complete the works, leaving my mother to get another contractor to complete these mworks at her expense. Shocking and immoral behaviour.
